Can we be told if we are going to have a go at Shrewsbury...
.......before I decide whether to travel?

I feel cheated out of £15 for me and my boy for last nights performance and if it's same again for the tinpot FA Cup I'll stay at home and watch it on the box.

Neither team will be at home for the replay.

Can we read anything into Moyes' reaction after the match? He seemed genuinely disappointed and angry with the effort from his players. Would he really have pushed them under the (parked) bus if he'd set out to lose?

I'm hoping he'll give more or less the same team the chance to redeem themselves, in front of a home crowd (might not be too much of an advantage to us, but at least Shrewsbury won't be at home which must have been an advantage to them).

We did our best to lose it.

I guess that our players want to completey embarrass us in-front of our own fans instead.

Maybe our next FREEBIE OR LOAN SIGNING will save us in the replay though.

Well I'm glad I passed my tickets on and watched it on the box as there was always the option of the Bobsleigh on the red button game.

That was as bad as the Arsenal game. Absolute dogs.

perhaps an asterisk next to the match on the ticket website would be a nice way of tipping us all off.
allardyce basically admitted to throwing league games against top 6 opponents so that will be the next trend when we get used to not trying for cups.....football is making itself increasingly hard to like

Forget it. Far more money to be made by staying in the Prem and that is all the owners will be concerned about. Save your money.

Even if we were to beat Shrewsbury we would exit the cup as soon as it was deemed "sensible" to do so. If we are not going to go for it, in a quarter-final, against a weakened team, when only two steps from Wembley and a possible Europa Cup place then I can't see how a 3rd round cup match would be of interest.

Winning would be nice?

After Tuesday’s debacle it is vital for Moyes to deliver a home win on Saturday. Anything else and he, personally, will lose much of the credibility he has been clawing back.

Why would they need to announce it? The board have made it abundantly clear that they don't give a fuck about cup games ever since they stunk the place out upon their arrival.

winning the next 3 games would be nice tbh, all against very average sides and it could put us in a much better position to have a go at the cup

I've seen some stinkers over the years.
Mansfield,Blackpool to name just a few.
That was when the F.A cup was taken seriously so I don't expect too much from playing Shrewsbury.

I was at the Wednesday game, along with Pub Bigot, who was a little worse for wear on the way back.

I also remember the cup game up there against United, which we lost on pens. Walked out of the ground on a Sunday night, snow coming down, thinking wtf am I doing here?

The ‘lure’ of the cup. Always gets me. You’d think I would have learnt by now.

All my GREATEST days of following us I reckon out of the top 20 that about 15 of them are cup games (BOTH FA and LEAGUE Cup) ... some brilliant adventures both home and away... give me a cup run and us turning over the oppo' when the chips are down than any 3 shitty points v Huddersfield... but then again... I'm a Romantic cunt

But that would be daft wouldn't it. And would get the club in trouble.

I was at that Sheffield Wednesday FA Cup game too, SOLD0 LOVE. Yeah, it was a disgusting throw-away from BORING BOLLOCKS.

That's why I didn't bother doing anymore Away cup games with BORING BOLLOCKS in-charge. I'm just glad that I stuck to my guns and swerved the Man City and Forest surrender jobs, in particular. That 0-5 loss with our kids Vs Forest was one of the most disgusting moments in my time following the club since a little boy. I would have harpooned that fucking boring, dullard, blubbery walrus cunt mess there and then if I had the chance.

Russ - Yes, that is exactly what they should do. If the team are not going to try to win the football match then surely it's only fair and proper to advise the fans before they spend money on tickets, travel, etc.

What do you want the club to do? Have a weekly message to fans:

Supporter message for Shrewsbury game - We are pleased to announce we will be throwing this game.

It was okay. I would have liked a right back/wing back, especially if you are going to put Caroll on a some point (ie. would be nice to have someone there whose training traditionally involves crossing)

It isn't so much about the starting 11 for me, it's about the intent.

More than happy for the odd fringe/youth player to get a game.
